21 Sustainable Development Goals for North East India: A Policy Blueprint

The North East Reimagine 2030 initiative reinterprets the 17 UN SDGs with four additional goals for North East India. "Uplift NE" tackles poverty through micro-entrepreneurship and digital banking kiosks. "AgroNE" promotes organic farming and millet-based nutrition. Other goals address health, education, gender equality, and AI ethics, fostering sustainable regional development.

North East 2030

Launched in 2018 by John Elijah Gomar, Mission North East 2030 aims to foster a sustainable startup ecosystem across India’s North East. By 2030, it targets supporting 10,000 startups, establishing 100 innovation hubs, and generating 1 million jobs, leveraging indigenous talent and resources.
